Hi! My name is Simeon.  If you are looking for a loyal companion who sticks by your side, I am your guy! I love people, especially when they rub my ears and let me snuggle with them! I can be a little timid of loud noises so if you have a calm home with older children that would be perfect for me. Did I mention I LOVE tennis balls? I carry one around with me all the time, even when I am snuggling.  I would love to have a yard to chase tennis balls.  My foster family throws the ball for me and I run so fast to retrieve it!  I do it over and over until I am exhausted. Sometimes I run too much and then my hips start to hurt. My foster family has been giving me some yummy things called supplements that help! I also love playing in the sprinklers!  My resident dog friends are scared to death of them, but I think they are so cool.  Speaking of resident dogs, I like other dogs, but I also wouldn’t mind being an only dog. I get along well with them but would rather hangout with you all day! I love attention so I am always first in line for ear scratches. I don’t really play with my resident dog friends as I prefer to chase tennis balls, sprinklers and my people.  I would love for someone to adopt me that is home most of the day.  I do well when I am left alone but I much prefer someone to be home with me so I can be right by your side. 

I like to hop in the car but I do get carsick sometimes.  I have done well with my foster mom as she drives extra careful when we must go somewhere trying to keep my belly from feeling queasy.  I walk well on a leash but I do need redirecting sometimes.  I am very excited when we start our walk, so I pull a little bit taking in all the smells, but my foster mom is teaching me how not to pull my human.  I am crate trained, but I don’t need one.  I much prefer to sleep on a doggy bed or even better in bed with my humans. I am housebroken and I can be trusted to be left alone in the house as I do not chew anything.  All I need is my tennis ball! I know basic commands such as sit, paw and down.  I listen very well!  I am also highly motivated by treats! 

I can’t wait to settle down in my furever home.  I will make a great best friend!
